Слайд 2: Phylogenetic
Study of evolutionary relationships among biological entities – often species, genes or individuals. Based on phylogenetic hypothesis that all living organisms shares common ancestory. Relationships are often represented as dichotomous branching tree called Phylogenetic Tree. This concept makes sense for sequences coming from same individual as in our case of using phylogeny for reconstructing halotype sequences from genotypes.

Arrhythmias Congenital Heart Disease Cardiomyopathy Myocardial Infarction Hypercholestrolemia
Слайд 4: ARRHYTHMIAS
Deviation from normal heart beat pattern. Abnormality of cardiac rhythm is called Cardiac Arrhythmia. It causes sudden death, suncope, heart failure, dizziness, palpitations or no symptoms at all. TWO main types of Arrhythmia – 1. Bradycardia – Heart Rate slow ( <60 b.p.m ) 2. Tachycardia – Heart Rate fast ( >100 b.p.m )
Слайд 5: Facts of Arrhythmias
ATRIAL FIBRILLATION - Increase risk for stroke which is common arrhythmia. BRUGADA SYNDROME - Cause ventricular fibrillation & sudden cardiac arrest. LONG QT SYNDROME – Rapid & chaotic heartbeats due to prolonged electrical recovery phase ( QT interval ). SHORT QT SYNDROME – A short QT interval that result in life threatening arrhythmias.
Слайд 6: CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE
Definition – Primarily anatomic abnormalities present at birth that results in abnormal cardiac functions. These lesions either obstruct blood flow in heart Or vessels near it or alter the pathway of blood circulstimg through blood. Classification of Congenital Heart Disease - 1. CYANOTIC 2. ACYANOTIC
Слайд 8: Teratology of Fallot
Слайд 11: CARDIOMYOPATHY
“HEART MUSCLE DISEASE” that makes it hard for Heart to deliver blood to body & tends to heart failure. Enlargement of Heart muscle. 4 types - 1. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy 2. Dilated Cardiomyopathy 3. Restrictive Cardiomyopathy 4. Arrhythmogenic right ventricle dysplasia
Слайд 13: MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
Caused by reduced blood flow in Coronary Artery due to artherosclerosis& occlusion of an artery due to embolous or thrombus. Irreversie damage of myocardial tissue cause by prolonged Ischmeia & Hypoxia.
Слайд 14: HYPERCHOLESTROLEMIA
High level cholestrol in blood and limit blood flow. Increased risk of heart attack on stroke. Detected by Blood test.
Слайд 15: How to Reduce Heart disease
Don’t smoke Exercise regularly Eat healthy diet Manage your diet Check cholestrol levels daily.
