Waitomo glowworm caves светлячки
In New Zealand, near the village of Waitomo, there are beautiful karst caves. The caves are more than 30 million years old.
Long time ago the ocean dominated this place. When the water left these places, about 150 caves were formed.
When the water left the cave, some really unique organisms called mushroom firefly mosquitoes or glowworms appeared in the caves.
These glowworms make nests on the ceilings of caves, and after that, they hang down sticky threads, and by their glow, they attract prey to themselves.
When visiting the cave, remember that the glowworms of this place are afraid of noise. So, you need to be very quiet, otherwise the insects will get scared and disappear.

Many of my friends and classmates are fond of them, especially they prefer to read romantic novels and detective stories. 4. In the end I would like to say that reading books is my cup of tea. If I start reading a good book, I simply can’t put it down until I’m done reading it. I can even forget about doing my homework!
