Diving deep Have you ever thought to try something new, something unusual which involves more risk than everyday sports? If you are brave enough, go diving, you'll love it. I am 21 and I've been scuba-diving for three years. It's not just a hobby for me; it's much more than that. Well, I enjoy sinking into a deep, dark sea, because it’s really extreme. A nything can happen, at any time, for example, shark swimming. It is unbelievable ! So, I suggest everyone try scuba-diving at least once. It needs practice, maybe for three weeks, to be good at it, but a good instructor can help. Also, you have to buy your equipment. To sum up, i t's well worth it. When Tom's dad picked him up in the car, he handed Tom a big bag from a sports store, and smiled. The boy was surprised and couldn't believe it! At first, his hands were trembling with excitement. Then, Tom opened the bag quickly and saw a fantastic new skateboard inside! In fact, it was exactly the board that he'd wanted to buy from the sports shop but he couldn't afford it. As soon as he got home, he jumped out of the car and ran to try out his board. Tom set off down the road at great speed. He soon met his friend, Henry, who asked him for a race. Jellyfish lake Palau
Jellyfish Lake is a marine lake located on Eil Malk island in Palau (Island state) near Philippines and Indonesia.
The reservoir appeared about 12 million years ago during the collision of tectonic plates lying on the border with the ocean. As a result, salt water began to seep ( просачиваться ) through the porous limestone ( пористый известняк ), along with small marine life. Gradually, it turned into a lightly salted lake.
Large predatory fish are not found here, and jellyfish have no natural enemies or competitors for food. Thanks to this, their number is about 2 million individuals.

The rainforest can be described as a thick and very tall jungle. The term rain comes from the great quantity of water that these forests get throughout the year. The rainforests are the world's greatest natural resources. They are called the lungs of our planet. Half of all the kinds of plants and animals that exist on the planet live in the rainforests. Unfortunately, the area with rainforests is being reduced due to global warming. 100 years ago, the rainforests covered 14 per cent of the earth’s surface. Now, it is only 6 per cent. Scientists say that if the process continues at this rate, the rainforests will have disappeared in 40 years.
