development of public diplomacy, strengthening and expansion of international links, friendship and harmony between the peoples of Russia and the Republic of Mauritius, establishing and maintaining a broad dialogue and cooperation with the Mauritian public, meeting the professional and amateur interests of members of the Society; coordination of efforts of interested public associations, educational, scientific and educational organizations, economic, scientific and cultural figures of Russia and the Republic of Mauritius, aimed at maintaining and strengthening mutual understanding and the trust between both countries. interacts with government agencies in the preparation and implementation of targeted programs in the socio-economic, educational, scientific, cultural and other areas ; promotes the dissemination of information about the Republic of Mauritius, its culture, history, geography, assists in the exchange of information between members of the Society, the development and deepening of knowledge about the Republic of Mauritius; creates platforms for friendly communication, support for creative projects related to the Republic of Mauritius; promotes scientific, cultural, educational, professional exchange between Russia and the Republic of Mauritius; organizes conferences, forums, competitions, olympiads, meetings, symposia, seminars, lectures and other scientific events, including international ones ; assists in the preparation, publication and distribution of information reference materials, educational, methodological and popular literature, visual agitation, audio and video production ; organizes the holding of holidays, festivals, family and household rituals, concerts ; carries out information activities in electronic and print media and information networks (in the manner determined by the current legislation ); contributes to the popularization of the study of the K reole Morisien, French in Russia and the Russian language in the Republic of Mauritius.
