Самый простой способ начать эссе – написать вступительное предложение общего характера из серии «Некоторые люди / многие люди…». Затем перейти к теме своего проекта «Цель моего проекта - выяснить … в Зетландии ». ! Важно : Вступительное предложение писать НЕ обязательно. За его отсутствие баллы не снижаются. !! Перефразировать тему проекта во вступлении НЕ нужно. 1 абзац, вступление
Самый простой способ описать факты = разделить проценты на группы: самый высокий процент(ы) + середина + самый низкий процент(ы). ИЛИ наоборот: самый низкий процент(ы) + середина + самый высокий процент(ы). В этой работе логично во 2-м абзаце взять самые низкие проценты (3%, 7%) и середину (22%, 23%), а самый большой процент (45%) сравнить с каким-то из них в 3-ем абзаце. Факты: 2 абзац 1 факт: самый низкий процент (3%) 2 факт: еще один низкий процент (7%) 3 факт: середина (22% и 23%) 2 абзац (факты)
Самый простой способ сделать сравнение : сравнить самый высокий (или низкий) процент с каким-то из других процентов. В этом задании обращает на себя внимание разница между parents - 45% и friends - 2 3%, потому что разница – почти в 2 раза. О такой разнице легко написать, её легко и прокомментировать: разница большая, потому что опрошенные ценят родителей намного больше и зависят от них больше, чем от друзей. 3 абзац (сравнение + комментарий к сравнению) Сравнение Комментарий Сравниваем parents - 45% ( самый высокий процент ) c friends - 23% (середина). Причина: потому что опрошенные подростки ценят родителей больше и зависят от них намного больше, чем от друзей.
Для того, чтобы верно отразить сравнение, необходимо использовать соответствующие языковые средства, например: лексика = difference, substantial/minor, only, a mere …, is outnumbered by, much/far …, a little, as much as / as many as … ; грамматика = степени сравнения: more / as… as... / the most ; half the… средства лог ической связи = whereas, by/in contrast, similarly… C равнение
К омментарий к сравнению
Проблема не должна быть про опрошенных Зетландцев и статистику, но она должна быть связана с общей темой задания. В графике обычно нет проблемы, но информацию оттуда можно использовать как источник идей для формулировки проблемы. В этом задании общая тема – люди, которые играют самую важную роль в жизни другого человека, и мы можем из графика взять родителей как пример важных людей и вывести отсюда проблему : непонимание между родителями и их детьми-подростками. 4 абзац (проблема + решение)
Решение должно представлять из себя конкретный шаг, действие / меру, которая позволит решить / решает проблему. В данном задании проблема - непонимание между родителями и их детьми-подростками, решение – обсуждать причины непонимания, давать возможность высказываться всем, проявлять уважение друг к другу. 4 абзац (проблема + решение)
В заключении должно быть 3 компонента : указание на свое мнение ( I think, I am sure, In my opinion/view, I believe, I have no doubt about it) + само мнение (что ты думаешь) + пояснение (объяснение, почему ты так думаешь) Если в заключении требуется написать о ком-то ( who can…), проще всего взять кого-то из графика: в данном случае мы можем опять написать о родителях. Самое простое объяснение: родители, потому что они лучше других знают и понимают своего ребенка-подростка. 5 абзац, заключение

Выделены 4 типа стилистических ошибок: 1) риторические вопросы; 2) разговорные выражения и конструкции типа Let's… (Let us и Let me – нейтральный стиль); 3) сниженная лексика типа folks (people, …); 4) 3 варианта стяжённых форм: – типа I’m, he’s; – отрицательные формы типа don’t, aren’t; – формы модальных глаголов типа can’t, mustn’t (Исключение: needn’t).
